Brian Rogers

Brian started riding a bike just as he was leaving Los Angeles for Chicago, so he cut his teeth in the flatlands.  What started as an attempt to get some fun exercise gradually turned into an obsession.  Putting in most of his summer miles in Colorado has given him the opportunity to do his fair share of climbing and mountain riding.  He’s learned how to do that the hard way, rather than the smart way.  Brian doesn’t race much but when he does he likes to win.  Which is unfortunate because he hasn’t won all that many races.  While he’ll throw his hat into the ring for a fun gravel event or the occasional road race or fondo, he specializes in hill climbs, the steeper and longer the better.  He won the Colorado State hill climb championship (Masters Cat 3) in 2023, after falling in love with the race up Mt. Evans nearly ten years earlier.  But usually you can find him just doing his pulls on the team rides and venturing around town on his bike.
